🎶 Journey Beginnings (Ages 5–7)

All Levels Welcome — From First-Time Beginners to Advancing Young Musicians

Our Journey Beginnings class is specially designed for children ages 5–7, where learning music becomes an exciting and age-appropriate adventure. Students explore songs and creative theory activities that match their developmental stage — keeping the learning process fun and engaging.

Because every child learns at their own pace, each song and activity is offered in multiple levels of difficulty. This allows beginners to build confidence with the basics while more experienced students continue to grow and be challenged — all within the same dynamic group setting.

Journey Beginnings classes are held 30 minutes weekly.

Journey Beginnings includes the following (and more):

  • Warm-ups (in different keys)

  • Sight Reading

  • Improvisation

  • Piano Ensembles (playing different parts at the same time)

  • Solos

  • Theory topics covered: Rhythm, Keyboard, Numbers, Staff, Notes, Intervals, Symbols, Major, Minor, Chords, & Terms
